Verizon Wireless have been discussing dropping the Palm Pre from their smart phone offerings, and the rumor is that they may be picking up the iPhone instead. AT&T has traditionally had the iPhone, however their exclusivity deal with Apple expires in 2010. So could Verizon be the next major USA carrier to offer the iPhone? Let's hope so, as Verizon's coverage and speed are known to be superior to AT&T's.
