From the maker of the famous RAZR, comes the very cool Motorola Droid. I'm sure you would have heard of the Droid - prior to Christmas it's been the subject of a veritable PR storm!
The Droid is a slide phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. It runs Android 2.0, and is probably the best Android platform around right now. It has a big, clear screen. The super-streamlined body is a bold black and gold, constructed of glass and metal. It has a processor comparable to that of the iPhone 3GS and the Palm Pre. Overall it's a great phone, but the extras are not so hot, e.g. the camera is not so good, and the GPS can be inaccurate.
If you have an iPhone and you just need to try something new, or are considering buying a smart phone, but you're not an Apple person, you should strongly consider the Droid. It is not as 'polished' as an iPhone but is a very strong contender and brings its own unique features to the table.
